Textbook Refund Policy

ONE WEEK CLASSES-You may return any textbook purchased at the Zane State College/OUZ Bookstore for a full refund without a withdrawal slip within the first 24 hours after a class begins.  After this period you must have a withdrawal slip in addition to meeting the conditions listed under "CONDITIONS FOR REFUNDS".

 

TWO WEEK CLASSES-You may return any textbook purchased at the Zane State College/OUZ Bookstore for a full refund without a withdrawal slip within the first 3 days after the class begins.  After this point you must have a withdrawal slip in addition to meeting the conditions listed under "CONDITIONS FOR REFUNDS".

 

FOUR/FIVE WEEK CLASSES-You may return any textbook purchased at the Zane State College/OUZ Bookstore for a full refund without a withdrawal slip within the first week after the class begins.  After this period you must have a withdrawal slip in addition to the conditions listed under "CONDITIONS FOR REFUNDS".

 

FULL QUARTER CLASSES-You may return any textbook purchased at the Zane State College/OUZ Bookstore for a full refund without a withdrawal slip ONLY UNTIL THE END OF THE SECOND WEEK OF THE QUARTER DURING WHICH IT WAS PURCHASED.  After this period and through the official drop date listed in the Zane State College or OUZ general catalog or schedule, you must present a valid withdrawal slip in addition to meeting the conditions listed under "CONDITIONS FOR REFUNDS".

 

CONDITIONS FOR REFUNDS

  • Still be in a salable condition.  New books must be completely clean and unmarked in any way.  We will not give refunds on new books that have been water damaged or have bent corners, covers, or pages.  Any books purchased shrink-wrapped must be returned shrink-wrapped.
     

  • Be accompanied by the cash register receipt, which was given to you at the time you purchased your book.

 

DO NOT WRITE OR MARK IN ANY BOOK UNTIL YOU ARE SURE THERE WILL BE NO NEED TO RETURN IT.

 

CHECK YOUR RECEIPT CAREFULLY, AND THEN KEEP IT.  This cash register receipt is your only proof of purchase and MUST be presented with any book for which you want a refund.  NO REFUND WILL BE MADE UNLESS YOU HAVE YOUR CASH REGISTER RECEIPT.

Saturday, September 11, we will be open 8:00am - 12:00pm

Saturday, September 25 and October 2, we will be open 8:00 until 2:00

Zane State students can begin using their financial aid for Fall 2010 on September 13 (if it has been processed) .  Please make sure to bring your student IDs.
